Responsible Welding Co-Ordinator

The role of Responsible Welding Co-Ordinator (RWC) is to ensure that all welding operations carried out under his/her control are executed in manner which meet the requirements of the customer.

Weld Procedure and Welder Qualification have a very broad scope in terms of specific requirement. This can be in material, weld process, material thickness, filler material and weld position. All Weld Procedures and Welder Qualification will have third party, independent accredited testing requirements to meet the customer specification.

It is the responsibility of the RWC to ensure that all of the above criteria are met and therefore, the RWC should be suitably trained to carry out the above operations.

Due to our extremely heavy work load at present, Pearsall Training & Consultancy are no longer running RWC training courses.  We can, however, offer advice and suggest alternative contacts for this training.
